Seven ways you can support your teens as a mother:
Open Communication: Encourage open dialogue with your teens. Let them know they can talk
to you
about anything without judgment.
Active Listening: Take the time to listen to your teens without interrupting or rushing
to provide solutions. Sometimes they just need someone to hear them out.
Set Boundaries: Establish clear boundaries and rules, but be willing to negotiate and
compromise when appropriate.
Encourage Independence: Support your teens in becoming independent by allowing them to
make their own decisions and learn from their mistakes.
Provide Guidance: Offer guidance and advice when needed, but also empower them to
problem-solve and make decisions on their own
Be Supportive: Show your support for their interests, goals, and aspirations, even if
they differ from your own.
Lead by Example: Be a positive role model by demonstrating healthy habits, effective
communication, and resilience in the face of challenges.
